Animal Aid ( Website )

Animal Aid is the UK’s largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world, having been founded in 1977. We campaign peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promote cruelty-free living. We investigate and expose animal cruelty, and our undercover investigations and other evidence are often used by the media, bringing these issues to public attention.

PETA ( Website )

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: in the food industry, in the clothing trade, in laboratories, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of rodents, birds, and other animals who are often considered “pests” as well as cruelty to domesticated animals.

Animal Rights UK ( Website )

Animal rights UK started as a result of a fur demonstration in Sheffield where one activist from Nottingham attended after by chance seeing the demo advertised on a website, this sparked thoughts on how to spread messages, important dates and events to groups around the country as quickly as possible.

Sea Shepherd ( Website )

Established in 1977, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world’s oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

NAWC ( Website )

NAWC was formed in October 2013 and has grown steadily since, in both membership numbers as well as in the level of activities and actions we have engaged with. The group is involved in several ongoing campaigns. These include two anti-vivisection (live animal experimentation) campaigns and the specific promotion of non-animal based research, development and testing as championed by such organisations as The Dr.Hadwen Trust.

Viva! is an active, vivacious organisation fighting to stop cruelty and harm to animals. We rely on public donations for our campaigns and outreach.

Hunt Saboteurs Association ( Website )

The Hunt Saboteurs Association (HSA) was formed in the winter of 1963 and first went into action in South Devon on Boxing Day… Hunting with hounds was supposed to have been banned in England & Wales in February 2005, and in Scotland, several years earlier. However, now the fuss and media attention has died down, most hunts are carrying on as they did before.

League Against Cruel Sports ( Website )

The League Against Cruel Sports is a registered charity that works to expose and end the cruelty inflicted on animals in the name of sport.

Captive Animal Protection Society ( Website )

Our dedicated team of staff, advisors and patrons come from a strong background in animal protection, welfare and conservation. Supported by researchers and investigators who are experts in their field, a team of volunteers, and our generous members and donors, the team’s multi-faceted experience allows for our continued success in CAPS’ campaigning work.
