We are no more important to the planet than parasites, seriously we fall under the definition of parasite to a tee. Bee's, ants, frogs and bats actually serve and importance to the planet and the ecosystem, so in reality the lives of those smaller creatures are more important than human lives, at least that's what the planet has to say.

Yes meat eaters are so intelligent that they think bacon is a health food and not the dead body of an innocent pig that did not want to die.

The proper argument here is that intelligence shouldnt be linked to value of life, rather it is the ability to suffer which gives life value.
