Over the last few years our events have been attracting more and more media attention, from local radio to national BBC Radio, the first vegan festival in the UK to be televised and last year we were finalist in a televised red carpet awards show. Yesterday the Sun Newspaper wrote an article about our upcoming Aberdeen festival, titled “SOYA WANT TO BE VEGAN?” First ever Vegan Festival to arrive in Aberdeen to be largest of its kind in UK as meat-free demand on the rise in Scotland.

SCOTLAND is home to a multitude of vegan enterprises from blossoming restaurants and cafes to a travelling butcher and an ethical taxidermist. But food lovers in Scotland are hungry for recipe ideas, new ingredients and just a bit more information on what vegan living is really all about.
It’s the high demand that prompted Vegan Festival UK to plan its first ever event in Aberdeen at the 22,000 capacity Pittodrie stadium. Kicking off on May 28, the event is set to be one of the largest vegan festivals in the UK. Some of the best vegan caterers across the country will gather to sell fresh food and pass on their tips and tricks, while organisers will also host talks on benefits of vegan living, environmental impact and health.
